Introduction
Hi, I’m Ellie. I offer cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) in Edinburgh for people experiencing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD, stress and low mood.
CBT is a practical, evidence-based therapy that focuses on understanding the patterns of thinking and behaviour that keep difficulties going. Together we work to make sense of what’s happening and develop strategies that help you move forward.
My approach is collaborative, supportive and focused on helping you create meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable.
I offer sessions in Edinburgh as well as online therapy across the UK.

How CBT Can Help
Cognitive behavioural therapy can be helpful for a range of difficulties including:
My Approach - CBT
CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviour. When we feel anxious or low it is easy to become stuck in patterns that make things feel worse over time.
In therapy we explore these patterns together and develop practical tools that help you respond differently to difficult thoughts and situations.
Many people find CBT helpful because it is structured, practical and focused on creating lasting change.

What to Expect From Therapy
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. My aim is to create a space where you feel safe to talk openly about what you’re experiencing.
Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs. We work together to understand what’s happening and develop strategies that support meaningful change.
